Private Pilot Training Programme Details

Our Private Pilot Licence (PPL) training is structured to build strong foundational flying skills through a combination of practical flight experience and theoretical knowledge. The programme prepares students for safe, confident, and independent non-commercial flying.

Minimum Flight Hours

Students are required to complete at least 40 hours of flight training. This includes a defined mix of dual flying sessions with an instructor and supervised solo flights to develop independent aircraft handling skills.

Theory Examinations

Trainees must clear written exams covering key aviation subjects such as air regulations, meteorology, navigation, aircraft technical knowledge, and flight planning.

Cross-Country Flights

The course includes mandatory cross-country flying requirements, where students plan and operate flights to airports beyond a specified distance to gain real navigation and route management experience.

Radio Communication Training

Students receive structured radio telephony training and must qualify for the Restricted Radiotelephony Operator’s Licence (RTR) to ensure proper air-ground communication skills.

ICAO Language Standard

Candidates must meet the ICAO operational level of English language proficiency to ensure safe and effective communication in aviation environments.

Licence Privileges

After successfully completing the Private Pilot Licence training, you are authorised to fly single-engine aircraft as Pilot-in-Command and carry passengers. However, PPL holders are not permitted to conduct paid or commercial flying operations.
